Overtime Book Tour – Cleveland, OH

On Thursday, October 3, New York Times bestselling author John U. Bacon will join the U of M Club of Cleveland to discuss his newest book, Overtime: Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines at the Crossroads of College Football, which is set to be released in early September. Overtime follows the Wolverine coaches, players, and staffers through the 2018 season. and also previews the crucial 2019 campaign. Overtime offers a window into a legendary program and the sport itself that only John U. Bacon could deliver. John will sign copies of the book, give an in-depth talk about its content, and answer audience questions.
John has written eleven books on sports, business, health, and history, which include four other books on college and Michigan football: Bo’s Lasting Lessons, Three and Out, Fourth and Long, and Endzone. He free-lances for The Wall Street Journal, Yahoo, and others, appears often on TV, including HBO, ESPN, Fox Business, MSNBC, and the Big Ten Network, and delivers weekly essays for Michigan Radio and occasionally NPR, which awarded him the PRNDI prize for nation’s best commentary in 2014. He is a popular public speaker and also teaches at the University of Michigan, where the students awarded him the Golden Apple in 2009.
