OVERTIME: Excerpts, Reviews, and Events

Hello, Loyal Readers!

Hope you enjoyed your summer, because (gasp!) it’s almost over!

A lot of buzz here at the Bacon Blog. OVERTIME: Jim Harbaugh and the Michigan Wolverines at the Crossroads of College Football comes out Tuesday, September 3, and you can pre-order it through amazon, Barnes & Noble, independent bookstores and others at the link above.

The first excerpt of is out in The Post Game, this one derived from Chapter 32: “Hard to Beat the Cheaters.”

I’ll be doing a pre-launch event in Chicago this Wednesday, August 28, at 6:30pm.

Then comes the big launch on Tuesday, September 3, at 7pm, and Michigan’s Hill Auditorium. I’ll be introduced by WTKA’s dynamic duo, Ira Weintraub and Sam Webb. To guarantee admission, you can click the link above and get your free tickets (plus a discounted, signed book you can pick up without waiting in line), but they’re not necessary to get in.

We’ll be posting all three dozen or so stops, in 17 states, on our book tour right here on johnubacon.com very soon. Hope to see you soon!

Without you Loyal Readers, I couldn’t be doing what I love.

    Hi John,
I’m a faithful reader and listener who has retired to coastal NC. Do you ever make stops in NC? There are more transplanted Michiganders here than you might imagine who would love to see you!

    Hello, Beth,

Great thanks for reading and listening!

I’ve been to the great UM clubs in Charlotte and Raleigh, but no plans yet to return there on this book tour — but we can always add them. Contact your clubs and they might be able to help.
